Richmond Villages Nantwich has won the Contribution to the Community Award, at the East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise Business Excellence Awards.

The Contribution to the Community Award celebrates a company or individual who has made a meaningful and positive impact on their local community. The retirement village in Nantwich has won the award due to its dedication and contribution to their local community. Through organising regular activities such as coffee mornings or fitness classes and inviting the local community to join them for special occasions, like Christmas lunch. Over the past year, the local Rotary club supported by the village has raised in excess of £20,000.

Village adviser, Rachel Lovatt, and Head of Activities, Jane-Ann Stubbs, proudly accepted the award on behalf of everyone at Richmond Villages Nantwich.

Rachel commented: “We are incredibly excited to have won this award in recognition of our continued contribution to the local community. We take great pride in welcoming all guests to our village and truly value the ongoing support of our local community. We are immensely thankful to all our staff and residents and those of our community partners and friends for all that we continue to achieve together – it is testament to the amazing community spirit we have built.”

This award recognises efforts that go beyond business objectives, demonstrating a genuine commitment to social responsibility, community support, and improving the lives of others. Richmond Villages Nantwich has made a significant contribution to the Nantwich community through their dedication to events which combat loneliness and support a thriving community.
