An abundance of communal areas means there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy time together as a family member or guest in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We are more than just a care home in that the surrounding facilities of the villages are accessible to all of our residents, including the tranquil, heated pool and state-of-the-art spa. Our fitness professionals from the gym regularly visit the care home to ensure residents can participate in innovative exercise such as seated yoga and tai chi.
We offer a service of residential care to those who may be unable, or no longer wish, to reside in their own home. Clinical care needs may be low for our care home residents but undertaking everyday tasks such as cleaning, making meals, washing, dressing and taking medication may have become too much. While we focus on those aspects it means residents can enjoy a range of activities and events which the dedicated team put on. We ensure companionship on all levels, group and one to one time, is provided.
Care home residents enjoy the privacy of their own en suite bedroom with profiling bed for maximum comfort and there’s space to bring treasured possessions and items of furniture.
Food is delicious and freshly prepared using nutritious produce. We regularly prepare resident’s choice dishes, traditional meals with a twist and much loved favourites to evoke happy memories of days gone by.
Richmond Painswick offers respite breaks for those who need residential care for a short or temporary period of time. If you are a carer looking for a break yourself but don’t want to be too far away from your loved one please ask our Village Advisors about Richmond Retreats at this location.
Rooms are tastefully decorated with luxury fittings and furnishings but there’s nothing like being surrounded by your own belongings, so residents are encouraged to personalise their room with familiar photographs, pictures, ornaments and small pieces of furniture to create that home from home environment. All rooms have en-suite facilities, remote controlled colour television and a state-of-the-art nurse call system.
Our dedicated activities team runs a social programme which includes arts and crafts, various workshops, animal therapy, music, entertainment and gardening. Many of our residents see living at a Richmond Painswick as an opportunity to develop a new hobby or interest.
Every care home in England needs to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who are an independent regulator of health and social care. They regularly monitor and inspect all of our care homes to ensure the standards of care and service provided to our residents is safe and effective. Richmond Painswick Care Home has been inspected by the CQC and here is the report.
We are very proud to have an outstanding level of reviews that come from our residents and their families. These are handled and verified by an independent website called carehome.co.uk.
All recommendations have been submitted through the independent website carehome.co.uk and are subject to the carehome.co.uk terms and conditions.
We are very active on social media; please join us on Facebook for news and information about upcoming events at Richmond Painswick.
