Care at Richmond Cheltenham

The care home at Richmond Cheltenham provides nursing and residential dementia care in a peaceful woodland setting.

At Richmond Cheltenham, each of the 60 private en-suite bedrooms are elegantly appointed with professionally designed interiors. The dining and lounge areas feature floor-to-ceiling windows, making the most of the surrounding woodland and treetop views. Bright and spacious on the inside, the care home also boasts plenty of beautiful outdoor space for residents to enjoy. These include an expansive rooftop terrace with breath-taking views over the town of Cheltenham, landscaped gardens and accessible woodland walks in the preserved grounds.

More than a care home, the village features a number of wonderful facilities and service which are available for our care home residents to enjoy, including the urban spa with a hair salon and nail bar, restaurant with private dining, and café bar. Our own team of fitness professionals regularly visit the care home, ensuring each of our residents can access innovative exercise sessions.

Dementia support

We are extremely passionate about providing a comfortable home for people who have received a dementia diagnosis. Our dementia residents live well, are mobile and require very little clinical support so we can provide proactive care that focusses on the person as an individual. This area of the home is designed to feel warm and elegant with plenty of visual indicators such a clear signage and memory boxes to help residents navigate communal and personal spaces simply and calmly. Group activity features music and reminiscence therapy, and we will ensure valuable one to one time is also offered to individuals.

Nursing care

Frail and elderly residents benefit from a lovely home environment. Private en-suite bedrooms are stylishly appointed with space to bring plenty of personal possessions and furniture. State of the art profiling beds ensure maximum comfort and staff can administer care around the resident easily. Residents will be able to enjoy a full programme of events and activities run by the dedicated team led by a ‘Head of Happiness’ and time is spent on individual hobbies and interests too.
