Corridors and communal areas are wide and spacious making this a lovely place to reside and spend time as a family member or guest. We have two wings of the home, Milldale for residents living with dementia, and Dovedale for the frail and elderly with nursing care needs.
Whilst Villages are exclusively home to those over 55, they are wonderful places to spend quality time with family and friends. We extend a warm invitation to those you love most, ensuring the very best memories are made here at Richmond Aston.
Bedrooms with their own ensuite are tastefully decorated with luxury furnishings and fittings. But there’s nothing so home from home as being surrounded by your own things, so residents are encouraged to personalise their room with pictures, ornaments and small pieces of furniture to create that comforting, familiar environment. All rooms have en-suite facilities, remote controlled colour television and a state-of-the-art nurse call system.
Our very own activities team runs a weekly social programme which includes arts and crafts, music, gardening plus various other workshops and entertainment. Many of our residents see living at Richmond Aston-on-Trent as an opportunity to develop a new skill or interest.
Every care home in England needs to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who are an independent regulator of health and social care. They regularly monitor and inspect all of our care homes to ensure the standards of care and service provided to our residents is safe and effective. Richmond Aston-on-Trent Care Home has been inspected by the CQC and here is the report.
We are very proud to have an outstanding level of reviews that come from our residents and their families. These are handled and verified by an independent website called carehome.co.uk and all reviews for Richmond Aston-on-Trent can be viewed here:
