Major Refurbishment Project Announced for Richmond Villages Nantwich

Richmond Villages Nantwich has announced that work has commenced to carry out an exciting refurbishment project next year.

The refurbishment is set to give a fresh new look and feel for its facilities and living environment for residents, visitors and staff.

With works scheduled for completion in February 2027 and will deliver a range of new and enhanced spaces across the village for residents to enjoy, including a new Villagers' Lounge, fully refurbished restaurant and private dining room, and a new bar area called Weavers Bar.

Additional improvements include a repositioned reception area with comfortable seating spaces called The Nook, a refreshed Salina Salon and Spa with a dedicated holistic treatment room, and modernised staff office areas.

All spaces have been professionally planned by interior designers to create a welcoming environment that supports the premium lifestyle experience offered at Richmond Villages Nantwich.

Jane-Ann Stubbs, Head of Lifestyle and Wellbeing, added: "The excitement throughout the village is already palpable. Residents are looking forward to enjoying the transformed environment once completed."

Resident Christine Jackson, who has lived at the village for the last three years, commented: "I really look forward to seeing the finished result. I've had a look at the design boards and everything looks fresh and vibrant. I love the use of colour throughout the plans. I'm especially looking forward to having my hair done in the new salon and then enjoying a gin and tonic afterwards in the new bar."

For those wanting to hear more, members of the local community are invited to a Discovery Day in September, where guests can hear more about the perks of living within a retirement village, along with expert speaker advice covering the essentials such as finances, moving, and lifestyle adjustments for families and individuals considering retirement living. Guests will also be treated to a tour along with a complimentary lunch, provided by the home’s very own chefs and kitchen team, consisting of a two-course buffet.
