Richmond Villages Painswick recently welcomed residents, their family and friends plus the local community and their four-legged friends to its annual Dog Show.

The event featured a variety of competitive categories designed to showcase the dogs' unique personalities and talents, including Best in Show, Best Trick, Best Fancy Dress, Waggiest Tail, Best Veteran and Cheekiest.

Winners proudly walked away with a winner’s rosette, cuddly toy and some dog treats.

Throughout the day, the village was filled with wagging tails, friendly competition, and plenty of smiles as participants showcased their talented dogs.

The atmosphere was fantastic, with strong attendance from the local community who came together to share in the fun and camaraderie that the event provided. As ever the kitchen team provided some delicious refreshments for everyone to enjoy, with the cream teas proving especially popular.

Cheryl Cox, Village Manager at Richmond Villages Painswick, commented: "It was a wonderful afternoon seeing so many magnificent dogs and their owners come together. The turnout was amazing and the energy throughout the day was fantastic. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event such a success. We look forward to hosting it again next year."

Every August, the dog show is an annual and valued fixture on Richmond Villages Painswick's calendar, providing a memorable community experience that brings together residents and their extended families and friends.
