Staff From Richmond Villages Northampton Lend Their Support To Cynthia Spencer Hospice Colour Run
13 members of staff and their families from Richmond Villages Northampton have raised over £300 for Cynthia Spencer Hospice having come together to support its Colour Run.
In addition to raising money for the charity which provides specialist palliative care services for West Northamptonshire in patient homes and in the hospice, the retirement village sponsored medals for the race. These were presented at the finish line alongside the local Mayor, Councillor Mike Hallam.
Throughout the event, team members from Richmond Villages Northampton also provided water stations to support runners and keep them hydrated.
John Akers, Village Manager at Richmond Villages Northampton, commented: "It was wonderful to see our team and their families come together for such a worthwhile cause. The energy and enthusiasm throughout the day was brilliant, and we were pleased to play a part in raising funds for Cynthia Spencer Hospice, an organisation that does such important work in our community."
