Residents at Richmond Villages Bede recently enjoyed a magical evening of music, dancing, and celebration as the village transformed into a glittering disco in honour of resident Stephanie’s lifelong passion for ABBA.

Tribute band, Take a Chance on Three, took to the stage to perform the legendary group's greatest hits, while all the staff embraced the theme with colourful fancy dress, creating an atmosphere full of joy and energy.

The special evening was part of Richmond Villages Bede's "resident wish days" programme, a meaningful initiative where the activities team discover what would truly delight each resident and then make it happen. For Stephanie, this meant an unforgettable night of disco magic, dancing, and celebration alongside the whole Richmond Villages Bede community.

The evening was a triumph of fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Residents and staff alike were transported back to the golden era of ABBA, creating magical moments that will be cherished for years to come.

Seeing everyone dressed up, singing along and dancing together made it such a special experience. The tribute band were fantastic, and it brought back so many happy memories. I’m so grateful to everyone at Richmond Villages Bede for making my wish come true and creating a night I’ll never forget.”
