Richmond Villages Wood Norton Brings Community Together for Dementia Fundraiser
Richmond Villages Wood Norton recently opened its doors to residents, families, and local community members for a heartwarming fundraiser, successfully raising £130 for a local dementia charity.
Guests came together over tea and cake to share experiences and stories, as well as raise money to help those affected by dementia. The event was also supported by local music group, The Mosley Brothers.
The fundraiser was organised to support the vital work of the Evesham Dementia Action Alliance, an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by dementia within the local community.
The Evesham Dementia Action Alliance runs local services, groups and activities for those living with dementia, as well as their carers, families and friends. Throughout Evesham, people of all ages come together in a friendly and welcoming space for exercise, spiritual refreshment, crafts, meetings and cafés.
The funds raised from the event at Richmond Villages Wood Norton will directly contribute towards the charity’s events and initiatives, helping to reach more people across the community and beyond.
James Culley, Village Manager at Richmond Villages Wood Norton, commented: “It was truly heart-warming to see everyone come together to support the important work of the Evesham Dementia Action Alliance. Our team would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, and helped make the afternoon so special. The community spirit was incredible, and we are proud to contribute to such an incredible cause.”
Richmond Villages Wood Norton is committed to fostering strong community links and supporting charitable causes that resonate with its residents and staff.
