Bedworth Community Raises £140 for Cancer Research UK at Fundraiser
Richmond Villages Bede organised a charity event in their Windsor Restaurant, alongside the Polly Mixtures Ukelele Band, in an effort to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
The event saw residents and community members come together to enjoy live music and refreshments. The event raised £140 for the important charity.
Denise Gilbert, Activities Coordinator at Bede, presented the cheque. She commented: “It’s important to our village to ensure we give back when and as much as we can. Every little bit counts!
“Our residents and staff come together to make events like these possible. We all had a wonderful time.”
One resident Pat Eltringham said: “It was lovely listening to the ukelele band, they were great. I had a nice evening.”
The team at Richmond Villages Bede look forward to hosting more community events in the future to continue supporting important causes while bringing people together.
