Richmond Villages Bede Holds Remembrance Service
Richmond Villages Bede hosted a peaceful and reflective remembrance service on Tuesday 11th November, bringing together residents, staff, families, friends, and members of the local community to honour those who have served and sacrificed.
Held in the Boveney Lounge, the service featured hymns, readings, prayers, and a two-minute silence at 11am, followed by the national anthem. The event was deeply meaningful to the village’s residents, many of whom hold Remembrance Sunday close to their hearts.
Village Manager Debra Cosgrove said: “It was incredibly moving to see our community come together in such a heartfelt way. Remembrance is hugely important to our residents, and we’re proud to provide a space where people can reflect and pay tribute. Community involvement is at the heart of everything we do and this service was a beautiful example of how we unite to honour and remember together.”
