Richmond Villages Witney recently hosted a vibrant Macmillan Coffee Morning, welcoming the local community to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Residents and staff at Richmond Villages Witney baked and donated a tempting array of cakes and treats for the Macmillan stall. Residents, their families, and guests enjoyed a delicious selection while making contributions to this worthy cause, raising £265.
The head of activities at Richmond Villages Witney, Joanna Cambrey commented: “This was our 6th annual coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity close to our hearts, doing vital work for millions across the UK. We relish the chance to come together, enjoy ourselves, and support such an important cause. This year was no exception; our community came together once again to make a difference.”
Martin Crick, Village Manager, said: “It’s always a great vibe at the annual Macmillan charity coffee morning, our residents embrace this as a great social occasion and donate generously to raise funds. Every seat is always taken in our coffee lounge!”
