Richmond Villages Bede Donates To Nuneaton Food Bank
Richmond Villages Bede, recently donated to the Trussel Trust food bank in Nuneaton.
The village set up a drop off point for staff, residents and their families to donate a range of food and kitchen supplies including tinned beans, tuna, oil, coffee and cereals.
The donation was part of the villages commitment to giving back to the community and supporting the Trussel Trust’s mission of ending hunger together.
Head of care at Richmond Villages Bede, Tina Lawton, said: “This initiative reminds us of the power of community and compassion. By donating to the Trussell Trust food bank, Richmond Villages Bede is not only giving food, but we’re also giving hope, dignity and support to those facing tough times.”
Village manager, Debra Cosgrove, added: “Our village is dedicated to engaging with the local community and finding ways where we can give to those in need. We’re constantly looking for new activities and ways to engage with the community.”
