Resident’s Handmade Cards Raise Funds for Alzheimer’s Society
Richmond Villages Cheltenham is proud to recognise resident June Allwood for her incredible efforts in support of the Alzheimer’s Society. June has created over 70 unique, hand-designed Christmas cards, selling out on her very first day due to popular demand. Her initiative not only showcases her artistic talent but also her compassion for Alzheimer’s Society, a cause close to her heart. June is now crafting additional cards to keep up with the interest and continue raising funds.
June’s heart-warming project embodies the true spirit of community and giving at Richmond Villages Cheltenham, inspiring both residents and staff. Each card represents her dedication to supporting dementia research and awareness, a vital cause that has had a profound impact on many within the retirement community.
