Richmond Villages is delighted to announce that Lynne Griffin, Village Manager at Richmond Villages Nantwich, has been awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by Housing with Care. This prestigious accolade was presented to Lynne at the recent awards ceremony on the 6th of June, recognising her outstanding dedication and contributions to the field of retirement living and care.

With over two decades of service in the industry, Lynne Griffin has proven her unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of residents and has been instrumental in creating a supportive and vibrant community.

“It’s such a privilege to have won this award. Richmond Villages Nantwich has been a huge part of my life for over two decades and I’m delighted to have been recognised for the work I’m so proud of for our residents.” – said Lynne.

Lynne started her career at Richmond Villages Nantwich in 1996, commencing her journey as Deputy Manager and was one of the named Nurses within the service.

Over the five years that the village has been home to Wych-Malbank Rotary Club, a group who meets weekly to plan and run events and activities in the Nantwich, Cheshire area, raising money for local, national and international charities and organisations, Lynne has successfully helped to raise in excess of £20,000 in donations.

Lynne has also been the driving force behind an additional £40,000 raised for charities including The Army Benevolent Fund, Stroke Survivors Charity, Saint Luke’s Hospice, British Heart Foundation and The Royal British Legion.

Lynne has been a mentor to many staff members, inspiring a new generation of caregivers and leaders in the retirement living sector.
