Richmond Villages join part of an exciting movement, as a proud sponsor of OxTrail2024!

Richmond Villages Letcombe Regis and Witney are proud to announce its sponsorship of OxTrail2024, Oxfordshire’s first sculpture trail.

This summer, the vibrant trail will see over 30 life-sized and mini ox herds adorn the streets of the county, all in support of Sobell House Hospice Charity, who provide end-of-life care for thousands of patients with life-limiting illnesses.

Our very own sponsored mini-Oxen will feature prominently in this spectacular trail throughout July and August. Each of the remaining sculptures will be uniquely designed by local artists, schools and youth groups, adding vibrancy to the city streets and engaging families and visitors alike.

This dynamic art installation event is a collaboration between Sobell House Hospice and Wild in Art, aiming to unite the community while promoting tourism in Oxford.

OxTrail is set to launch to the public on 6 July 2024, captivating audiences until the end of August 2024. Following the exhibition, the sculptures will be auctioned off to further raise funds for the hospice.

Amelia Foster, CEO at Sobell House Hospice Charity said, “OxTrail will encourage locals and visitors of all ages to explore Oxford’s iconic attractions and discover hidden gems.”

The design of our sponsored ox will remain a secret until the trail's launch in July, but we're eagerly anticipating sharing our unique creation with everyone!
