After residing in Essex all their lives and living in the same house for 42 years, Marion and Ivor Shipley decided to embark on a new adventure - moving out of their comfort zone to start a new, exciting chapter.

Originally seeing Richmond Villages Letcombe Regis in a magazine, the retirement village immediately caught their eyes as the change that they were craving. Having done extensive research, the couple decided to move into one of our Independent Living Apartments. 

The village offered them their own privacy and access to all the health and social facilities for the active lifestyle they were seeking. Keen swimmers, Mr and Mrs Shipley saw the pool in the villages' Wellness Spa as a huge benefit and have found a host of new friends and communities to join since taking the plunge. Since moving, Mr and Mrs Shipley have exclaimed that they wished they made the move sooner!
