Prior to joining Richmond Village Witney I have held senior management roles within the hotel, leisure and catering sectors. Most recently I was the registered manager of a nursing home in the West Midlands.
When I am not at work I enjoy running, going to the gym, playing golf and country walks with my partner and our two dogs.
I enjoy leading and supporting the team to deliver outstanding care and customer service and look forward to developing relations with all of the residents within our community.
Head of Maintenance / Deputy Village Manager
For the last thirteen years I have been managing properties and buildings within the healthcare sector.
I will be leading a small team of staff who ensure that the buildings, equipment and grounds are well maintained at all times. I will also be responsible for a team of drivers, the procurement of materials, organising specialist external contractors and supervising their work.
My role as Head of Maintenance can be very varied and at present I am helping our new residents to settle into their homes.
I consider it a privilege to be a part of the Richmond Villages brand and am looking forward to the completion of the Village. The development and growth of the Village will provide a sense of 'home' for all those who have chosen to be a part of the Village at Richmond Witney.
Head of Administration
I have worked in the healthcare industry as an Administrator for the past 14 years. I relish the challenges it brings and meeting different people. I have recently joined Richmond Villages Witney in October and I am enjoying being part of this community. I live in Witney and I am married with 3 children. The Administration office is responsible for making sure that all deadlines are met relating to the accounts and payroll functions. I am responsible for reporting to Head Office and ensuring that all resident and staff queries are responded to in a timely manner.
Domiciliary Care Manager
I started my career in care in 1981 as a Auxiliary nurse and over the years I have developed in different roles in care services along the way met my husband and I have two grown up children and two beautiful very young grandsons who keep me busy. I have lived in Witney for 30 years and still love living here.
I am very excited to be managing the Domiciliary Care team and to be part of Richmond Village Witney.
Head of Activities

I was very excited to be appointed as Head of Activities at Richmond Villages Witney in November 2016. My most recent job was as a teacher at a school for children with autism, planning and delivering a programme of curriculum lessons and activities to suit each childs individual needs. Now I will be working at the other end of the age scale and am looking forward to planning events, activities, clubs and days out for all our residents here at Richmond Witney.
As a child, I was fortunate to spend some time living in Uganda and Malawi and had the opportunity to experience different cultures and meet people of many various nationalities.
I am keen to ensure that all our residents are able to enjoy activities which are meaningful, stimulating and fun – and that will help them live longer, happier, healthier lives.
Head of Hospitality
My career started with completing a two year catering course in Oxford in the 1980’s and progressed from my first appointment as a Pastry Chef at a local airfield to my most recent role as a General Manager working in London.
I am thrilled to have been appointed as Head of Hospitality at Richmond Witney. I look forward to welcoming you all to our Restaurant, Café and Bar to enjoy the delicious and exciting food and beverages on offer.

I joined the Army when I was 16 years old, and after 3 years of service decided to enter the hospitality industry. In the 80s and mid 90s I spent the majority of my time in Stratford Upon Avon covering all areas of the hospitality trade, running hotels such as the Swan's Nest, the Falcon Hotel and the Stratford Hilton.
Upon leaving Stratford I spent 2 years launching the Banbury Rugby Club. This was a unique experience as it was a brand new facility and I was in charge of implementing all procedures including banqueting, conferences and 4 bars. During this time we achieved 'Best New Business' in the Banbury Business Awards.
For the past 18 years I was the Steward at St Antony's College at the University of Oxford. St Antony's presented a new challenge. I was solely responsible for all catering and conference services within one of the University's most cosmopolitan of Colleges. I ran many high profile events, for diplomats, world leaders and Royalty, alongside providing catering services for its 400 graduate students.
Now as Restaurant Manager of Richmond Villages Witney I am hoping to bring forth my vast experience to the village, improve standards and procedures and make sure our residents are provided with the high-class level of service they deserve.

I trained as a chef almost 20 years ago and have worked in many fine dining restaurants and hotels around the UK.
I settled in Witney and have a young family and two dogs which keep me very busy when I’m not at work.
My career with Richmond Villages began in the Autumn of 2016 just before the village opened.
My kitchen team is now complete and the village is almost full. I enjoy meeting new residents and finding out about them and discussing the Menu and their preferences.
I recently represented the Village at The Richmond Village Chef of the Year Competition and am very proud to say that I was awarded first place.
I’ve been involved with Landscape Construction and Gardening for the past 25 years and joined Richmond Village Witney in July 2016.
Previously I’ve been part of a team working on various sizes Commercial and Private Projects, creating high standard fabulous gardens around Southern England.
I’m looking forward to our Village developing in the future and building a rapport with the Residents to provide a relaxing environment for all.
I’m married with 3 children and have lived in and around Witney all my life. My hobbies include Sports, Cooking and World Cinema.
I joined Richmond Villages back in 2009 when the village at Letcombe Regis was under construction. It was great to see the Letcombe Regis village literally grow out of the ground and turn into the community it is now and new village at Witney is set to follow in the same way.
I enjoy being able to use the resources we have available to us in order to find the best retirement option for our residents. We can usually help people at all levels of retirement find what they are looking for.
I joined Richmond Letcombe Regis in March 2015 as a Village Adviser and moved across to join the team at Witney in September 2015. I have lived in Witney for the last 10 years and it’s great to be able to live and work in the same town.
One of the highlights of my role is working with residents and their families to find the right accommodation and associated support package that suits their individual requirements. It’s a privilege to work at Richmond Witney and to feel that we are able to help people to make the most of their later years
Head of Housekeeping

I started at Richmond Witney in May of this year in the role of Laundry Team Leader and it was not long before I processed to the role of Head Housekeeper. I really do enjoy working at Richmond Witney and pride myself in providing a high standard of customer service across the village. I do like the interaction with residents and helping them to set up housekeeping packages in their village apartments and suites.
