Each village has its own event organiser and a varied program of events and
activities to suit all interests. Please see below for news of all our events

Tea Dance is held fortnightly in the restaurant with professional dance tutors John and Sharon Brookes.
Residents thoroughly enjoy the dances and have improved on their moves tremendously since starting in June 2011. We have many ladies that attend but are always in need of more male dance partners, so please come along.
Tea, coffee and cake served at 3:30pm for only £2.50 per person.

Richmond Northampton is to host the annual "MacMillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning"
The coffee morning will start at 10:30am with cakes, danish pastries and croissants, all available for a donation.
We will also have our usual bring and buy sale in the Craft Room.

Richmond Northampton has a weekly knit and natter group in the Coffee shop.
This week head of activities Christopher Rayatt will be demonstrating how to crochet for those that are interested and how to crochet for beginners.
Please come along for a fun afternoon.
Richmond Northampton is collecting for the Northamptonshire Food Bank this Harvest Festival.
On Sunday 7th October is our annual Harvest Festival and we are collecting for the local food bank which are always in desperate need for supplies coming in to the autumn and as the cold sets in more families are in need, the food bank also helps with food for the homeless.
Food items should be dried tinned or have a long shelf life.
Please give all food items to Reception by Sunday 1st October 2017.
At Northampton we hold a regular monthly Quiz Night on the second Wednesday of every month.
17:30 for pre- quiz drinks at the village restaurant bar. Quiz Starts at 6pm with six rounds of general knowledge questions. Each team member contributes a £1 to enter and all money goes to our nominated charity.
Hot Buffet served at 7pm.
Join us in the Craft Room for a floristry demonstration at 2:30pm with M.K Florist “Florrie”
The two flower arrangements will be raffled for residents at the end of the session.

Our Annual Firework Display on the Village Green tonight.
The evening will start with Mulled Wine & Hot Buffet being served from 5.00pm onwards.

Richmond Northampton is once again in for a treat as the "Homestead Singers" return to entertain us.
Starting at 2:30pm in the restaurant our residents will be in great delight as the twenty voices of the local male voice choir sing for them.
The Homestead Singers are a charity based organisation who are always welcomed by our residents because of the passion and energy they put into their performances.
This is not to be missed!

Christmas Cake, make and bake at Richmond Northampton is always a very popular activity.
Every year we have a make and bake session in the craft room usually starting at 2:30pm. Residents bring their own cookery tins but Christopher Rayatt-Howard provides all ingredients including mixed fruit which has been soaking in sherry since March this year.
The afternoon is usually finished with either Tea, Coffee or a cheeky glass of Mulled Wine or Sherry just to get us in the Christmas mood.
Ho Ho Ho!
Everyone enjoys a Christmas Fayre and ours is always a busy event.
With over many stalls located from the reception to the restaurant there is something for everyone.
For our younger visitors why not visit Santa in his grotto? Available on the day will be a Christmas Raffle, Tombola, Guess the weight of the Cake, Bonus Ball Game and traditional mulled wine and mince pies.

On Wednesday 19th December residents will join together to celebrate Christmas at a social night in the restaurant starting at 5.00pm.
We will have Carols with the Richmond Choir and Christopher Rayatt-Howard who has been busy practicing on the Piano.
A festive buffet will be served at 7pm.
