Everything’s blooming at Richmond Nantwich

Everything’s blooming at Richmond Nantwich

There was a lovely bright yellow surprise recently at Richmond Nantwich when Olwyn Payton from Sainsburys arrived at the Village with bunches and bunches of daffodils for the residents.

Sainsburys donate surplus flowers to local Care Homes and many local homes have benefitted over the past week with their kind gesture. Staff and residents at Richmond were delighted to receive them and set about arranging the flowers in vases for all to enjoy.

Village Manager Lynne Griffin remarked “The flowers are lovely and bright and have brought a real ray of sunshine” Senior Village Adviser Nicola Morgan-Parker added “We always appreciate the flowers from Sainsburys and it was handy having Gary Lawton from Maintenance around to help
give them out as there were such a lot!”

Picture shows Carers Lynn Williamson and Lynne Vickers together with Pat Chantry, Gary Lawton and Olwyn Payton.
