The group meets in the yellow Lounge at 2:30pm and everyone is more than welcome to attend, either to listen or to talk about their past and experiences.

Social and Recreational Therapist Christopher Rayatt-Howard will lead the group in the discussions and has prepared scrapbooks and memorabilia items to show residents hoping to ignite memories of the past.

Music and Fireworks at The Summer Proms

16th September 2014

Music and Fireworks at The Summer Proms

Over 120 people enjoyed a night of live music from The Co-Operative Funeralcare Band on Saturday as they played a rousing selection of music at The Richmond Nantwich Summer Proms.

From a Russian Cossack Dance, to the Theme from The Muppets, Jerusalem to the latest James Bond track "Skyfall" and such favourites as "We'll meet again" in between, the whole evening was a resounding success. The final piece, Pomp and Circumstance, was perfectly timed to start and finish to a stunning display of fireworks that completely lit up the sky courtesy of sponsorship from The Andrew Connelly Practice and Blitz Fireworks. Everyone was up and singing, waving flags and shouting for more.

With a solo performance in between sets by Saxophonist Susan Walker, and delicious food on offer, the evening was declared "outstanding" by all who came. It was made even better by being warm and clear; something no-one could have predicted at the start of the year! Thank you to everyone who made it such a success.
