Richmond Nantwich Residents GO WILD!

10 July 2012

Richmond Village Residents Go Wild.

Richmond Village, Nantwich invited unlikely quests into the home this week. Safari Steve from “Home Safari” brought Raccoons, Lizards, Snakes, Skunks and Hedgehogs to see the residents, and kept them entertained for the afternoon.

Residents were able to get “up close and personal” with all the animals, and the afternoon was enjoyed by all, particularlyNormanthe raccoon, whose birthday was celebrated with a rousing song.Villager. Mrs Riddlestone said “it was such a great afternoon, and I learnt that a snake is not slimy but soft. My favourite would have to be the lizard” (see photo).

Helen Gillett- Richmond Receptionist said “The whole village has been looking forward to meeting these furry guests- although some were perhaps not too keen on the snakes! But Safari Steve did not disappoint and was very informative about all the animals he brought.
