The thought of growing older and losing our independence is frightening, and the choice of struggling with the tasks of daily living at home or moving into a retirement village is a difficult one. As well as these choices, having no knowledge about the financial and personal arrangements required is very confusing.
Richmond Coventry will host an event offering advice and information on how to manage your finances and affairs in retirement. The afternoon will be held at their Care Village located in Hospital Lane, Bedworth on Wednesday 1st September 2010, from 2.30pm until 4.30pm.
The event is totally free and includes light refreshments throughout. The afternoon will provide help and information on such topics as Lasting Powers of Attorney, protecting capital, assets and succession, state funding support and how to self-fund care.
There will also be the chance to view the facilities at Richmond Coventry, which include independent living apartments, assisted living apartments, and a care home. Richmond Coventry has a uniqueness of approach which is fast catching on. The Village is a vibrant community in its own right, yet well integrated within its wider community. It offers a wealth of activities and facilities and as much or as little first-class care as each person needs. Ranging from a basic house-keeping service to 24-hour nursing care; flexible packages provide great reassurance by perfectly meeting everyone’s changing needs.
