Maintenance Technician

Richmond Wood Norton are now currently seeking to appoint a Maintenance Technician (40 hours) to join their luxurious retirement village based in Wood Norton, Evesham. About the Role We have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Technician and Driver to join our stunning new purpose-built retirement village to ensure that the village, the plant and everything within the grounds is maintained to the highest of standards and thereby helping to ensure the comfort and safety of our residents. Reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance, the Maintenance Technician will ensure that the buildings, grounds, gardens and all equipment are maintained to a high standard of repair and aesthetic condition. You will also undertake driving duties as required using company vehicles, including transporting residents and collecting/delivering equipment to and from the village. Who we are looking for You will need hands-on experience of property maintenance and a sound understanding of building services such as plumbing, ventilation, heating systems, water distribution and electrical distribution. Practical experience of planned maintenance systems, record keeping, project and budget management Sound knowledge of statutory requirements and compliance. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, and ability to work well within a team Ideally, you may hold a building/electrical/plumbing qualification (BTEC, City & Guilds, ONC, HNC etc) and health and safety qualification (NEBOSH, COSHH, CIEH etc). About the role The Domiciliary Care Assistant will support our residents with daily living activities in a person-centred manner, promoting physical and personal independence as well as choice in all activities, and ensuring we provide a comfortable, homely environment. You will be attending to the personal needs of our residents – social, emotional and physical – which can involve helping them achieve things independently rather than doing it for them, promoting independent living within our village. Who we are looking for Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, and able to work well within a team. Also able to work on own initiative and resolve issues with minimal supervision. A background in care is desirable, as is an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care. Professional, neat appearance and excellent communication skills. In return we offer: A competitive salary. About the Role Our Wellness Spa with gymnasium, swimming pool and beauty treatment facilities now requires an experienced and highly motivated Spa Therapist to provide a first-class health and beauty treatment service for our residents and the local community from the outset. You will need a recognised qualification in beauty therapy such as NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy, or ITEC equivalent. You will have an outgoing, warm personality with excellent customer service skills who can understand the needs of a five-star clientele and be able to interact in a confident and empathetic manner. To deliver treatments, provide recommendations and advice on treatments and products, and on additional services available within the spa such as hairdressing, holistic health etc. You will assist the Spa Manager with any additional duties such as reception cover, taking phone bookings and participating in promotional activities.
