We’re looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor at Richmond Painswick to lead and motivate our team, ensuring that all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety for our residents across the village. 

What your typical day involves

  • Leading and motivating a team of housekeepers and laundry staff to deliver work within given time frames
  • Managing a set budget of costs to facilitate your staffing and orders
  • Maintaining rosters, annual leave and managing your team’s performance and absences
  • Ensuring that our residents’ care home facilities, public areas and individual properties are maintained to the highest cleaning standards
  • Dealing with any concerns from residents or their families in a timely manner.

Who we’re looking for

  • You’ll have experience in a housekeeping role, with a clear understanding of infection control, COSSH, compliance standards and associated reporting. 
  • Friendly and approachable, you’re a natural leader, building long lasting professional relationships with your team, residents and their families. 
  • Leading by example, you understand the importance of maintaining a safe working environment for your team. 
  • You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in your work. 
  • With strong communication skills, you’ll confidently prioritise and delegate tasks amongst your team.
