Bob Lewis, who has written a book all about keen interest for fitness and wellbeing at the age of 98, continues his at Richmond Villages Wood Norton, thanks to the village’s best-in-class Wellness Spa. Fitness remains an integral part of Bob’s day-to-day life, and his daily routine includes regular exercise. Moving to the village in 2019, Bob was one of the very first residents in the assisted living suites. Bob admires the beautiful environment and friendly staff at the village, and has even signed up for the ‘lifestyle package’ to make the most of the delicious meals on offer to Wood Norton residents

No matter how young or old a person if you love gardening this love will never disappear. What will unfortunately go is the ability to look after a garden; whether due to health or simply because a new home may not have a garden of its own. There is however a way that you can still enjoy the simple pleasures of growing favourite plants (and even vegetables) and that is in containers. A small balcony or patio can be transformed with some beautifully planted pots whether they are brimming with flowers or full of Mediterranean herbs and salad leaves, it is just a question of following some simple rules. Couple Reunited With Family As They Enjoy New Life At Local Retirement Village
Gillian and Peter Darby, moved to Richmond Villages Wood Norton in September last year to be closer to their family. Originally looking to move further afield to the Southwest, the couple say it’s a “very happy chance” they ended up at Wood Norton. Since moving to the retirement village, the couple praise their “superb” apartment and claim their new home is “just what we want.”

Muriel Squibb gives thanks to fellow resident, Debbie Dyson, and Richmond Villages Wood Norton, for bringing back her love for swimming .Following a series of health complications, Muriel was left with a knock to her confidence and swimming ability. The two residents have bonded with frequent trips to the village’s swimming pool and continue to swim both together and independently.
