Stories, news and updates straight from our villages
A good walk can do wonders for your mental wellbeing, whilst also being beneficial for your physical health. But it's not just about the occasional one-off feel good factor. Being active has a whole range of benefits when it comes to mental wellbeing. It improves self-perception and self-esteem, mood and sleep quality, and it reduces stress, anxiety and fatigue.
Take the opportunity to explore your local area and go for a gentle stroll. We’re fast approaching Summer time, the birds are singing, the flowers are full of life, nature is looking its best, offering us plenty of inspiration for art and garden projects as well as the time to appreciate what would normally pass us by.
If you’re unable to venture out then open a window and take a moment to listen to the birds, admire your surroundings and cherish the peacefulness and serenity of a world that isn’t as busy as it once was.
Although our Wellness Spas are currently closed, our therapists are still on hand to offer advice or have a chat with anyone who needs it.
