Thank You #RVHeroes from our residents and families
6th May 2020

Thank you to all the wonderful residents, families and friends who have been sending cards and messages to us all at Richmond Villages. Receiving these positive messages keeps our spirits high and reminds us all to keep on working hard – our efforts are truly appreciated.

We thought we'd share some of the positivity, so here are just a few of the kind messages we've received recently.

“To all you people at Richmond Villages, just a message of solidarity & love. I’ve watched your brave and inspiring video and of course I often think of you anyway. But in these extraordinary and demanding circumstances, I’d like you to know that you are in my thoughts every day, with admiration.”

- Christine, family member of a Richmond Villages' resident.

“Thank you to James and all of the wonderful people who have worked so hard to make Easter so normal and happy under the prevailing circumstances. A special thank you to the Easter Bunny, plus the chocolate Easter egg from you all was naughty, but very very nice. To Tony and his staff for the yummy hot cross buns, a real treat from you all. Thank you.”

“Hi everybody. Just to say thank you so very much for all of the wonderful work you are doing at this very difficult time. My thanks, together with Maureen’s, David’s and Neil’s and family members, go out to you for the continued help and care you are giving to our mother. I hope it won’t be too long before I will be able to thank you personally, ‘till then, “stay safe” and keep your chins up.”

- Christine, family member of a Richmond Villages' resident.

“Very many thanks for all the kind good wishes expressed by individual voices and on cards on my 90th birthday. When explaining life here to family and friends outside I often tell them that we could not be cared for better if we were the teams actual grandparents. For all the good life here, many thanks. Best wishes.”

“Thank you to all the staff at Richmond Villages for looking after my mum so well in such difficult circumstances. Particular thanks to Michelle. Mum was very rundown and anxious when she went to Richmond Villages, but the difference in her now is amazing. Thank you so much again. With very best wishes.”

- Carolyn, family member of a Richmond Villages' resident.

“It’s difficult to thank you properly from a distance for everything you’re doing in such difficult and worrying conditions – but thank you from the heart for your kindness and care and your professionalism. I’m not only very grateful, I’m full of admiration. I hope it won’t be very long before I can thank you in person. Meanwhile, please know that you are in my thoughts every single day. With love to you all”

- Leonie, family member of a Richmond Villages' resident.

“Please can you pass my huge thanks to all the staff who are looking after my mum, Betty. It’s very difficult not being able to visit her but it’s so comforting to know that when I call her she always feels safe, well cared for and more importantly… very much loved by the staff! THANK YOU TO ALL! You provide a fantastic service, even during these difficult times. She even comments on how good the food still is under the circumstances! You have certainly eased the situation for her family! Thanks again”

- Frances, family member of a Richmond Villages' resident.

“I would like to add my thanks to the other residents, for all the work that you and the staff are doing on our behalf at this very difficult time. It is very reassuring to know that our needs are considered, and help given when required. The help with food needs is especially appreciated.”
