I would like to put on record a very big "Thank You" to all those who helped to organise the 96th Birthday Party for Denis on April 27th. Everything was perfect - plenty of very nice food and drink for everyone. The guests were all very impressed with the party and also Richmond! “Feeling almost overwhelmed with the responsibility of matching my elderly parents’ requirements to appropriate accommodation needs, I called, unannounced, one Sunday morning to be met by Claire Fry who gave me a totally comprehensive tour of the wonderful facilities at Richmond Northampton. Nothing was too much trouble and my immediate impression was one of professionalism, care and real interest in the work. There was a marvellous atmosphere as I went round and smiling faces from staff and residents alike. All the staff with whom I have had contact hold the needs of this village community as paramount and my dealings with them have helped me considerably to come to terms with, and manage, the considerable change involved in a move into Assisted Living so late in life for my parents. Assisted Living

We were amazed at what a lovely place Richmond Village Northampton is. Everyone here is so friendly, kind and helpful. Our stay was so relaxing, we were looked after extremely well and our stress levels quickly diminished. The staff are lovely and we cannot fault any of them. We were so thrilled that we decided to sell our house and buy one of Richmond’s lovely apartments. There are other lounges available in which to relax or entertain friends, plus a library coffee shop and hairdressing salon. The spacious restaurant serves three good meals with several choices of menu every day and the spacious gardens are a delight. We both made friends with other residents from day one. There are games, hobbies, music, cards and entertainment to suit all tastes and we are truly happy with our decision to move. We are delighted with the care we have received from local doctors, dentists and hospital specialists. Above all our two daughters are happy that we are in safe hands and within easy reach of them by ear. Mr & Mrs Smethurst

Dear Sharon and all staff in the restaurant, Thank you for having me in the restaurant at Richmond Village for the past few months, in order to complete the volunteering section of my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. I have gained valuable experience working in a small restaurant environment and have also enjoyed interacting with the residents in the restaurant, learning their little ways and chatting to them. My time at Richmond has given me a different outlook into the lives of the older generation. Special thanks to Jenny for completing the comment section in my book and also to Tracy who I worked with a lot during my time in the restaurant. Best Wishes Zoe

A very enjoyable day with much effort having been put in by the staff, never had my face painted before. Very pleased to hold an Olympic Torch, impressed the grandchildren. JM

Jubilee Day 5th June

Our family would like to thank you and your staff for helping to make Mum and Dads Diamond wedding anniversary party such a success. The room was perfect and hotel services did a fantastic job. It is a great comfort to us that Dad is being nursed with care, compassion and professionalism. His stroke has had a devastating affect on us all but we feel lucky to have found a home where he is so happy. Yours JR

To the Care staff who daily and nightly helped her in so many ways, the Housekeeping ladies who always had a cheery word with her, the Kitchen staff again, always a lovely warm greeting and to the Patient Reception ladies who by now have an intimate knowledge of mum’s T.V remote control I am sure!. We recently moved from another Richmond village to Richmond Northampton and have found the staff and Residents to be friendly, approachable and always here for us. The restaurant is first class as are all the other departments within the village.
