Assisted living , is your package flexible ie if I did not need help with preparing meals or light housework like bed making and general tidying of apartment during the week is this possible.

Dear Mrs Shaw

Thank you for your enquiry regarding our Assisted living packages.

This is a very good question and one that we are asked regularly.  All of our residents in our Assisted living apartments are obliged to pay a weekly package fee that includes all of their food, cleaning and laundry as well as all utility bills. If a resident wants to do their own cleaning or prepare a light meal for themselves as an alternative to having a meal in our restaurant or delivered to their apartment then, of course, that is no problem but unfortunately they would still be need to pay for the cleaning and meals as part of the package.

As an alternative we do have some lovely independent Village apartments that have fully fitted kitchens which include washing machines, built in ovens and a dishwasher.  Quite a few residents that live in our Village apartments use our restaurant for some meals and they can also use our cleaning and laundry service as well if they want help with some of the day to day chores. This makes living in a Village apartment a more flexible option.

We currently have a few 1 and 2 bed Village apartments available to view and if you would like to come and visit us and stay for a complimentary lunch you would be most welcome.  If you are coming some distance then we can provide overnight accommodation for you.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards

At Richmond Northampton a monthly newsletter is published and delivered to every apartment. On arriving at Richmond Northampton Social & Recreational Therapist Christopher Rayatt is on hand to answer any questions you have and to talk to you about the activities, what is on, where and what day of the week.

The weekly activity schedule is displayed in reception as you walk in and on the notice board by the cloak room. You can also check the activities book in the coffee shop and why not view the activity scrapbook.

You can also attend coffee morning every Tuesday to find out the week’s events.
