Each village has its own event organiser and a varied program of events and

Every year Richmond Northampton are the local drop off point for the "Samaritans Operation Christmas Child Appeal".
Residents and staff will try and fill many boxes themed for either a Girl or Boy and an appropriate age sticker for the inside contents is displayed along with £2 for the postage of the box.
The box can contain many different items from sweets, toys and education items. Boxes must be wrapped in Christmas Paper.
If you would like a leaflet containing information on everything you need for the box and a shoe box please call Christopher Rayatt-Howard on 01604 432635.
We start collecting completed Shoe boxes from July 2017 until 29th September 2017.
Richmond Northampton have a monthly Morning Song Group.
Starting at 11am in the Restaurant playing a range of songs to sing-a-long with.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
Tea Dance is held fortnightly in the restaurant with professional dance tutors John and Sharon Brookes.
Residents thoroughly enjoy the dances and have improved on their moves tremendously since starting in June 2011. We have many ladies that attend but are always in need of more male dance partners, so please come along.
Tea, coffee and cake served at 3:30pm for only £2.50 per person.

At Northampton we computer sessions on how to use a PC, Tablet, Kindle or IPad.
Most of our residents now have either a Tablet or Ipad as they are so easy to use and have the added benefit of not taking up much space compared to traditional computers.
Sessions are held Monthly and residents have the choice of attending both group sessions or one to one sessions.
this months session will be 1-2-1 tution so please book with Chris, Head of Activities on Ext635
At Richmond Northampton we have arrange further Dementia Friends dates. This friendly and interactive face-to-face sessions take place at the village in a relaxed, friendly environment and lasts for about 1hour:-

Richmond Northampton are starting a new Craft Group and this week we will be learning how to "Swedish Weave."
Swedish Weave is an American craft done on Monks Cloth and Double Knit Yarn used to design patterns on the basket weave cloth.
Christopher Rayatt our Social & Recreational Therapist will be on hand to show the art of Swedish Weaving.
Richmond Northampton today will be gathering for a Cocktails & Jazz Night.
The residents, family and staff will be invited to join the Cocktail evening which starts at 6.00pm in the Restaurant. A full menu of cocktails will be available on the night at very competitive prices
