Double Anniversary at Richmond Nantwich

Double Anniversary at Richmond Nantwich

It was a double celebration at Richmond Village Nantwich recently as two staff members marked their 20th Work Anniversaries.

Hilary Minshull and Administrator Joanne Rowe have seen many changes over the years with Hilary starting out as a Care Assistant and working her way up to Care Home Manager.

Flowers, champagne and a certificate marking this fantastic achievement were presented by Village Manager Lynne Griffin who remarked “Hilary and Jo are two great members of staff and we all hope that they continue to work here for many more years to come.”

A Fairy Tale at Richmond Nantwich

A Fairy Tale at Richmond Nantwich

There has been some strange goings on at Richmond Village Nantwich recently as a magical Fairy Village miraculously appeared amongst the trees. The miniature Village complete with fairy house, play garden and toadstool seats has enchanted a local girl so much that she now visits most evenings to ensure that it is looking spick and span for the fairies who live there. Harriet Bradshaw who lives near to Richmond Village has cleared away leaves and moved lots of pine cones on her nightly journey, but was surprised and delighted recently when she turned up to find that it had a new name “Harriet’s Fairy Village”!

Her Mum Amba took to twitter to say “Thank you to the wonderful 'fairies' at Richmond Village you made Harriet's week with the fairy plaque. What a lovely community Richmond Village is!”

Staff member Gary Lawton, who “helps” the fairies sometimes, remarked “We have all been enchanted by Harriet who is doing such a lovely job of keeping the fairy village clean and tidy and think it is entirely fitting that they have decided to name their village after her.”
