Local Area

Nantwich is a delightful discovery for those who don't already know it. One of Cheshire's oldest settlements, its distinctive Tudor architecture, set alongside the river Weaver, makes it one of the prettiest towns in England.

Wander through the quaint, winding streets and you'll find a host of interesting antique shops, boutiques, cafés and pubs. There are also many fine restaurants. Hardly surprising perhaps, since Nantwich is also home to a nationally renowned Farmer's Market and its annual Food and Drink Festival has become one of the most popular events of the year.

Whatever the time of year, there is always something going on here. The Jazz and Blues Festival, the Festival of Transport, and 'Holly Holy Day' are just three more enticements for the wide variety of visitors and tourists who come here. And in summer, you won't fail to be amazed by the sea of colour of its beautiful gardens which, for the fifth year running has voted Nantwich 'Best Town' in the North West in Bloom competition.

All in all, Nantwich has proved to be a great location for our Continuing Care Retirement Community. We're just half a mile from the town centre while only fifteen minutes from the M6, half an hour from Chester and the Potteries and an hour from Manchester and Liverpool. Chester, Congleton, Crewe, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Middleswich and Northwich are also on the doorstep.
