Richmond Nantwich has a 39 bedroom Care Home providing 24 hour residential care. The Care Home is monitored and registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our home is rated 'Excellent' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). CQC is the independent body that regularly inspects all care homes in England. We are pleased to announce that Richmond Nantwich has won ‘The Care Employer Award’ in the Great North West Care Awards 2010. The Great North West Care Awards, supported by the Department of Health and HET Software, are part of the Great British Care Awards, a series of regional awards which celebrates excellence in social care and pay tribute to those who work in the sector throughout England. Judges made the following comments about Richmond Nantwich ‘Richmond Village Nantwich are clearly a very person centred organisation and recognise and meet individual care and support needs. The importance of staff development is recognised and sourced out through a well established care and management team.

Home from Home
Individual rooms are tastefully decorated with luxury fittings and furnishings. That said, there's nothing as comforting as being surrounded by your own possessions, so people are encouraged to personalise their room with photographs, pictures, ornaments and small pieces of furniture to create a familiar environment. All rooms also have en-suite facilities, remote controlled colour television and a state-of-the-art nurse call system.
Best Care
Our registered Care Home have qualified staff on duty twenty four hours a day. We aim to provide the best care, support and advice by:
- Working with our residents and their families to develop a plan of care which all of our team follows.
- Liaising with GPs and other healthcare professionals to address our residents' individual needs.
- Rigorous training, auditing and supervision to maintain standards.
- Providing a full range of equipment to suit residents' needs.
- Offering an appetising and nutritious menu catering for various dietary requirements.

All staff, from young apprentices to senior managers, are encouraged to continue their professional development at Richmond Villages. We provide the opportunity for our employees to reach their full potential and our career pathways have been created with all our employees in mind, from care and nursing staff to hospitality and catering employees, and even management staff.
We offer great induction programmes, accredited through our very own business school, many of which lead to formal qualifications and Masters in management. We also hold a national contract with the Learning and Skills Council to deliver a range of externally accredited programmes.
