Our Care Home is an integral part of the Richmond Nantwich community and provides 24 hour long term and short stay residential care plus respite and palliative care in luxurious surroundings set in over 4 acres of landscaped gardens and grounds. All our rooms are beautifully decorated with en-suite wet rooms as standard whilst for those who prefer a bath; there are suitable facilities available on both well-appointed floors of our Home.

All this is provided in a socially active and stimulating environment with an Activities team that plan a full and varied diary including coffee mornings, quizzes, art classes, visiting musicians, church services and trips out to name just a few.

We are regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and consistently receive awards and accolades for the care that we provide including winning The Great British Care Award for Nutrition and Hydration and Employer of the Year through South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce. We have also been recognised by carehome.co.uk which is the largest online care home directory, by being awarded 'Top 20 Recommended Care Home 2015'. The carehome.co.uk Top 20 Care Home Awards 2015 highlight the most recommended Care Homes in each region of the UK. The Awards are based on over 45,000 Recommendations received from Residents and Family / Friends of Residents during 2014.

See our Care Home page to find out what makes a Richmond Village care home different to a normal care home.

Respite care

Respite stays are always short-term. Having said that, the relationships they build between the village and resident give great reassurance to all concerned, especially if a longer stay ever becomes necessary. Respite care is also ideal for those who are well enough to leave hospital but not yet well enough to return home.

What does it cost?

As no two people are the same, our Village Adviser can advise you of the cost once the level of care and the length of stay you require has been established. In all circumstances, the fee will include any care provision, a comprehensive social activities programme, all meals and hotel and laundry services.

Review of Richmond Nantwich
Submitted by S V on Monday 20 March 2017.

My father is now in his sixth week following hospital discharge directly to Richmond his care has been exemplary during periods of exacerbated illness. During times when he has felt well, the staff have been very encouraging to include him in socialising and attending activities whilst my father would love to be in his own home Richmond has provided the next best thing.

Lovely decor throughout including painting on the wall and bright airy rooms. I was impressed with the dining areas and the wide range of activities taking place. A beautiful television room and everything was so clean. All the staff were very friendly.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed with everything. The home is beautifully decorated, very homely and spotlessly clean. As a visitor, I felt very welcome and the staff were helpful and friendly. My relatives room was lovely and she was obviously happy with the facilities and activities.

Always welcoming. Excellent food. Can hold parties which are very well organised. My grandfather says the care is excellent. He goes to lots of other entertainment.

The Richmond Village experience in Nantwich is like a cruise ship, (eg QE II) without the water around it. I cannot fault the staff or the residence, everyone is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone.
