To the Domiciliary Care team and all the wonderful staff at Richmond Village. When 'R' came to Richmond Village two and a half years ago, he arrived as a stranger in new surroundings. He was received as a guest, and within days he felt that he was surrounded by friends. You all made him so welcome. On behalf of 'R's' family and friends, can I say how much we appreciate all the care and devoted attention you each showed to 'R' during his stay - a place that 'R' came to consider his second home. Never once did he feel that he was receiving less than the finest attention and thoughtfulness. Each day you brought in 'R's' life a smile. Your care of 'R' always ensured he retained his dignity. Just popping your head round the door to say hello meant that he never felt alone for a minute. When we, family and friends came to visit, we always sensed the aura of caring that surrounds Richmond Village. Be very proud of yourselves: you are role models in a world where so many people are starved of affection and friendship. We shall always be grateful to you for your love and attention to our brother and friend.

Four years ago we, Bob, Wynne and Dempster, our beloved West Highland Terrier, came to live in Bede Village, our eighth home during the 46 years we had been married. While most of the other moves were the result of Bob's changing work requirements, this move was to begin the final chapter of our lives in what we believed would be a secure envoirment; we have not been disapointed. We like this part of Warwickshire, the people are very friendly and there is much to do both inside and outside of the village. The staff with whom we are in contact on a daily basis are splendid, helpful and friendly and as a result we both believe in and are committed to this lifestyle of living independently within a retirement village knowing that, if required, additional support is close to hand.
