On Friday 17th June, 10.00am - 4.00pm, Richmond Bede Village will be opening it's doors to the public as part of the National Care Home Open Day. The theme is yet to be decided!
The idea behind the day is to encourage local people to visit care homes in their community and to work together to develop better relationships.
This important connection is something that Richmond Bede Village has nurtured since opening in 1992 and the home is already acting as a community hub, including holding quiz nights and entertainment nights, regular coffee morning and fetes.
As part of the Care Home Open Day 2016, Richmond Bede Village will have various visitors and entertainment throughout the day; visitors can get an idea of what living in a Care Home is really like!
