Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Appeal

1 October 2014

Every year Richmond Northampton are the local drop off point for the "Samaritans Operation Christmas Child Appeal".

Residents and staff will try and fill many boxes themed for either a Girl or Boy and an appropriate age sticker for the inside contents is displayed along with £2 for the postage of the box.

The box can contain many different items from sweets, toys and education items.  Boxes must be wrapped in Christmas Paper.

In 2012 we sent 58 shoe boxes to the Samaritans Purse Appeal and residents were delighted to receive a letter of thanks in March 2013.

This year we will have the help from our local youth club who are going to come along to wrap the boxes.

If you would like a leaflet containing information on everything you need for the box and a shoe box please call Christopher Rayatt-Howard on 01604 432635.

We start collecting completed Shoe boxes from July 2014 until 12th October 2014 and every year the local shoe company Padders donate new shoe boxes.
