Richmond Bede Village Sponsors Peaks Challenge

Anthony Tenniswood enthusiastically embraced the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge raising funds for Age Uk.

Anthony, married to Bede's Deputy Village Manager Sonia Tenniswood, trained for many months to successfully complete the challenge within 12 hours, climbing Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough.

Anthony said, “This was one of the most challenging things I’ve ever taken on. The pain and fatigue endured helped make it such a rewarding challenge, along with knowing how much good will come from the money raised for Age UK. I think sponsor, Richmond Bede Retirement Village, got their moneys’ worth from me and I thank them for their support.”

Paddy Brice, Managing Director of Richmond Villages, commented, “As a business, we like to contribute to the local community by sponsoring and supporting such events.”
