Saxophones and trombones at Richmond Letcombe Regis

23 January 2013

Jenkins Noyse is an improbable quartet of soprano and alto saxophones, tenor horn and bass trombone.  The combination of instrumental voices is well adapted to both early music and jazz but as no music has been specifically written everything the group plays has been specially arranged.  Over the two years the group have been playing together they have established an eclectic collection.  The name "Jenkins Noyse" is a tribute to the early English composer John Jenkins (1592–1678 whose manuscripts of viol music are held in a collection in Oxford.

A two course meal will be followed by the musical entertainment.  Tickets are £14.95.  If you would like to join us for the supper Club or for information about activities and events taking place taking place at Richmond Letcombe Regis or if you would like to arrange a visit to view the apartments and care facilities, please contact us on 01235 773970 (option 1).
