The stage is almost set for the next Richmond Village Pantomime, which this year will be set in the weird and wonderful world of Wonderland. Alice in Wonderland will be the fifth pantomime staged, and features staff, friends and family including Rosalind Ratcliffe, Village Hairdresser who is taking the lead role as Alice.
Rehearsals started in October, with the show being written, directed and produced by Fred Allman, who last year reached the finals of the Great North West Care Awards.
Fred remarked “The pantomime is a little later this year as rehearsals were interrupted by a bout of illness over the Christmas period; however we hope that people will come along to enjoy the production as everyone has worked very hard over the past months.”
There will be two performances, the first on Friday 18th January at 7pm and the second on Saturday 19th at 3pm. Tickets are £5 for adults and £2.50 for children which are available at the Village Reception or by calling 01270 629080.
