Help us look into the future

12th July 2012

Help us look into the future

Ridgeway Associates, an independent research organisation, has been sponsored by Richmond Villages to gain the views of people aged over 50 about future Housing and Care options.

Whilst you are at the Olympia 50+ Show would you be interested in taking part in some market research on the topic of Retirement Living?

You are probably aged between 50 and 90 and have an interest in Retirement Living yourself or perhaps you may be considering the needs of your parents or an elderly relative.

If you are attending this event on Thursday 12th July then we would love to meet you and hear your views.

We would like to discuss with you the range of housing options available for older people who wish to live independently but have care and support available if they need it. We are looking for a small group of people to give their views on:

  • What accommodation and services they believe should be on offer for older people; and
  • Give us frank, independent views on the ways the sector presents itself in the marketplace

What is involved?  A maximum of one hour of your time on either the morning or afternoon of 12th July – refreshments will be available throughout!

You can come on your own, with a partner, relative or friends.

In exchange for your time our sponsor, Richmond Villages, has agreed to offer a complimentary two night spa break at one of their villages to all those taking part.

Rest assured, we shall not try to sell you anything, we simply want, and will value, your views – both the positive and negative.

If you would like to participate please call 01235 773970 (option 1) or email info@richmond-villages.com

Rest assured, we shall not try to sell you anything, we just want your comments - positive and negative

Crowds of people visited Richmond Village Nantwich last weekend to enjoy their annual Summer Fayre in aid of Parkinson’s UK, and brought the good weather with them!

Craft stalls tempted visitors to buy unique and interesting goods while children enjoyed bouncing around on the inflatable castle or watching the Punch and Judy show.

The MVS Steel band gave the event a true summer feel with their calypso beats.

Each stall donated a prize for the raffle which along with the tombola and balloon sales raised an amazing £1,000 through the day.

Later more than 400 balloons bought by local businesses, the general public and Richmond Village residents and staff were released to draw the event to a close.

Parkinson’s UK branch Vice Chairman Dennis Fricker said “The whole day has been fantastic. The money raised will go towards research being undertaken both locally and nationally to find a cure. We are very grateful to Richmond Village for organising the event once again, and this year a special mention must go to The Andrew Connolly Practice for sponsoring the Balloon Race.”
