Staff Raffle raises money for local hospice

5th January 2012

A staff raffle at Richmond Village Nantwich recently raised over £150 for St Lukes Hospice. The prizes, including a Kindle, Sat Nav and I-Pod were purchased with award points collected by the Village’s Hospitality Department including nectar points from the local Sainsburys store in Nantwich.

Hospitality Manager Debbie Mercandelli remarked “We all thought it would be a lovely idea to redeem the points earned over the year in a way that would also raise money for charity.”

The Kindle was won by Administrator Joanne Lester, while Senior Care Leader Jean Dyde managed to secure the Sat-Nav – even though she rides to work every day. At least she won’t get lost on the way!
