Afternoon tea was spent completing crosswords and puzzles as residents and staff raised money for Dementia UK this week. Money raised from Tea Parties held across the country will help Dementia UK to expand and develop their services to family, carers and those affected by dementia. Elisabeth Parker, Village Manager, says: “Supporting Dementia UK is very important to Richmond Villages. Our Memory Lane Community, at the heart of the Village, has been created for people living with a dementia, which affects the lives of so many, and the number of people living with dementia is set to rise to over 1 million by the year 2025."
