Fire Safety at Richmond Coventry

26th January 2011

Fire Safety at Richmond Coventry

Many more people are now living longer and enjoying life into their seventies, eighties and nineties. One of the consequences of advancing years is greater frailty due to declining health and mobility, leading to increased risk of injury and fatality due to accidents, especially in the home.

It is therefore very important to make older people, their relatives and carers aware of the dangers and preventive measures, leading to increased home safety for the elderly.

Adam Hemmings from the Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service will be hosting a presentation on safety within the home on Wednesday 26 January 2011 at 10.30am in the Windsor Restaurant.

If you would like to come along, please contact one of our Village Advisors on 024 7664 5544.

31st January 2011

Rags & Roses Vintage at Richmond Coventry

Rags and Roses Vintage are always creating! Along with our usual vintage goodies we also have a range of unique and handmade, machine embroidered and appliquéd textiles. There are lovely cushions, bags, cosies and more. They have quirky motifs and each one is different. They are machine embroidered with a primitive finish which enhances their handmade quality. This signifies individuality and completes the non-mass produced look.

They can also make these to order with your wording of choice.

They produce cushions, bunting, quilts, bags, aprons, cosies, and many more gorgeous accessories for you and your home.

We are pleased to announce that ‘Rags & Roses’ will be holding a stall at Richmond Coventry on Monday 31st January.

The stall will open at 10.30am in the Abingdon Lounge.
