RICHMOND NANTWICH HOSTS COMMUNITY EVENT

Local MP Edward Timpson and Nantwich Town Mayor Joyce Stockton were guests of honour at the second "Connecting the Community" event on Saturday 4th September at Richmond Village Nantwich. Over 30 groups, charities, clubs and socities provided fun and information for the hundreds of people who came to enjoy themselves on the day. From rescued greyhounds and birds of prey, to The Royal British Legion and local theatre groups, there was something for everyone. Children were well catered for with a face painter, bouncy castle and delicious Snugburys ice cream. Hundreds of pounds were raised and planning for next years is already underway.
