Richmond Northampton Classical Music Appreciation
Classical Music Appreciation is a popular activity at Richmond Northampton, run on a monthly basis usually every 3rd Monday of the month.
The residents enjoy either listening to CD’s of classical music but what is more popular is if we can get the chosen performance on DVD. So far we have managed to get every chosen piece on DVD.
We have watched many performances from Dvorak New world sympathies, Beethoven piano sonatas, Mozart piano concerto 21, Mozart the Magic Flute, H.M.S Pinafore by Gilbert & Sullivan and many more to come!
Today we watched an opera, Carmen. Twenty five residents came along for the rendition produced in Germany 1978.
