Richmond Letcombe Regis hosts Caring with Confidence course

"Caring with Confidence" is a programme run by the Oxfordshire Carers' Forum.  The seven week course, hosted by Richmond Letcombe Regis, has enabled people who look after a relative or friend to receive help, support and practical advice as well as the opportunity to share experiences and to meet others in a similar situation.  Carers were also able to bring the person they care for to be looked after in the Village.

After completing the course one of the attendees said: "This programme has given me information that I did not realise existed.  It has given me confidence in my caring role and enabled me to meet a wonderful and supportive group of new friends."

Valerie Thwaites, Project Manager added: "This programme has been of immense value to those in a caring role.  We are delighted that Richmond Villages offered us the opportunity to run our sessions at this beautiful venue."
