Richmond Nantwich Responds to NAPA Challenge
RICHMOND RESPONDS TO NAPA
On 8th June, a day of music from around the world was thoroughly enjoyed in support of NAPA (the National Association of Provider’s of Activities for Elderly People). Residential Care establishments nationally were invited to participate. Richmond Village Nantwich did in its own inimitable style.
Music of composers and singers from around the world was played throughout the day. National flags were displayed. Morning coffee, croissants and cognac a la French mode to the tunes of French music preceded a music quiz attended by a large number. Was it the lure of the cognac?
The day culminated with an American-flavoured supper club. Doughnuts were served to diners at the end of the meal, if one had room!
The evening finished with a display of line-dancing. Soon, ladies ventured onto the floor with Jean and Avril strutting their stuff. What a wealth of hidden talent!
