New Sensory Garden at Richmond Nantwich
Town Mayor of Nantwich Joyce Stockton, kindly opened the New Sensory Garden at Richmond Village Nantwich last month. The opening took place to the soft music of gentle waterfall, birdsong and wind chimes.
In the presence of many who had dedicated time and effort into planting, designing and building the garden- mayor Stockton accompanied by her husband Eddie, cut the ribbon on the new arched gateway entrance.
The Sensory garden has had stunning water features sponsored by local companies: Symponia, Alectrics and Armchair Carpets of Crewe.
Our new garden is now a popular place for residents and visitors to stroll around and sit in. We will now watch as nature takes its course and the plants and shrubs planted begin to grow and bloom. Even when all is quiet, the musical songs from the birds around together with the gentle wind chimes and trickling water provide a peaceful area for all.
